Notes
- Seltzer originally came from a German town with natural resources of mineral water (Seltz) and was named so after the salty taste of the water. Seltz – Salz – salt. Get it? Many of these ancinet sources omit water and gas, and before bottling the water, the natural gas is re-infused into it to make it sparkling. Amazing. Nowadays, Seltzer is often man-made carbonated water, like club soda, but with artificially added Sodium, unless it's, as most Seltzer brands on the market, sodium free. Basically, it's a joke. But it works as long as you don't fool yourself. It ain't mineral water, it's just carbonated. works for me.
- Commercial Ginger Ale is really just another soda pop, which means that its main ingredient is corn syrup. Even though it's called ginger ale, it may actually not contain real ginger anymore at this point. The myth that ginger ale is an effective remedy against an upset stomach is really just that: a myth. Try the real thing.
